How to play
- You have 21 guesses to identify the mystery virus (~111 in the pool).
- Search by common name (e.g. "Ebola virus") or ICTV binomial (e.g. "Orthoebolavirus zairense") — both work in the search bar.
- Each guess shows a color-coded badge — color encodes how close you are (red = no overlap → purple = correct). The taxon name is not revealed; use the tree.
- The ? node in the tree tracks the mystery virus's position — it moves closer to the answer as you home in on the right branch.
